EADTU in cooperation with the OpenVM partnership organised a 2 days online event on virtual mobility. The core goal of any mobility is providing an international academic experience for students. Various mobility schemes can be distinguished like physical mobility, online/virtual mobility and blended mobility. A rather new approach in addition to these is Open Virtual Mobility. In addition, a Special Interest Group was launched to lead the work for the coming next five years.
On January 22, 2020, George Ubachs, Managing director of EADTU gave a presentation on Innovating International Higher Education by Virtual Mobility during the Flemish Education Day.
